If you’ve lost an adult tooth due to trauma, it’s important to see an emergency dentist as soon as possible. Give us a call and we will book you in with one of our emergency specialists on the same day. If you can, try to gently place the tooth back in its socket.

If this isn’t possible, keep the tooth in a container of milk and bring it with you to your appointment.

It’s completely normal to feel worried during a dental emergency, especially if you’re in significant pain.

Your emergency dentist will prioritize relieving your discomfort first and will use advanced, effective anaesthetics to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.

We offer appointments 24 hours a day. While our standard hours are from 7am to 11pm, we are happy to accommodate appointments at any time and can book patients around the clock.

For appointments outside of our regular operating hours, a call-out fee will apply.

Please note: The call-out fee covers the consultation, X-rays, and the initial treatment to relieve your pain for one tooth. This may include procedures such as complex extractions, composite fillings, or the first stage of a root canal.

Warm salt water rinses can be helpful if you’re experiencing swelling or infection, as salt water acts as a natural antiseptic and can help alleviate pain. Over-the-counter painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, can also provide temporary relief from discomfort. However, it’s important to consult with a healthcare professional before taking any medication.

Unfortunately, toothache is not considered a life-threatening emergency, so it may not be treated in that context. However, if you’re experiencing swelling that is impacting your ability to breathe, we strongly recommend visiting A&E immediately.

There is a £20.00 consultation fee, which covers the X-rays, examination, and diagnosis of your dental emergency. Any additional treatment will incur an extra charge. Treatment can typically be completed on the same day. We aim to allow patients to leave our surgery being free from pain but not having to pay high rates for their work.

Yes, we frequently see patients from abroad who don’t have a local dentist. We welcome all patients, and no registration is required.

We will provide you with after care packs that will give you instructions on how to manage yourself after having seen us which will totally personal to the treatment you have had done.

We are always open for you to come back to the surgery for any help or advise that you need.

No one has to accompany you during your treatment, but you are free to bring anyone you would like!

You do not have to wait after your treatment. Once you have been seen by our emergency dentist you are able to leave.

No registration is necessary. Most of our consultations are for emergency cases, and you do not need to be a registered patient to see our dentist. After your emergency appointment, you can follow up with your registered dentist for any ongoing treatment.

If you do not have a registered dentist, we offer day care at our practice where you can be seen for general examinations, hygiene visits and all other dental needs.
